We are proud to share that the STS9 co-sponsored Solar Knights Racing program are one of eight national winners of the SeaWorld / Busch Gardens / FujiFilm Environmental Excellence Award. The solar-powered race car received a composite score of 93% from the 18 judges (the highest ever by any proposal in the history of this award program). National Geographic is sponsoring the award this year with a check for $10,000. The Solar Knights received the top score out of close to 200 applications.
Congratulations to the Solar Knights Racing Program, and thanks again to STS9 racing fans for YOUR support of this great project.
