I just checked out their website and saw that they added tons of new artists.

So pumped for Claypool, New Mastersounds, and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Ave. Trombone Shorty is movin up, if you haven't seen him yet you're missin out.

Anybody going here? Who yall wanna see most?

New Mastersounds was at Bear Creek this year in Live Oak Florida.  That has to be one of my new favorite must go festivals.  They rocked and I am looking forward to seing them again.  My buddies in Colorado are raving about Split Lip Rayfield and I am always happy to stand in fromt of Les Claypool for a few hours.  Arkansas huh? It is gorgeous my family had land in the mountains there.
So anybody heading out from the Northwest?

I think I am most excited about seeing Galactic (one of my favs since I was like, 14), Dirtfoot (my hometown boys, friends with the band), Matisyahu, CLAYPOOL, and Perpetual Groove. I am also really excited about seeing Yonder Mountain String Band.

I'm not from the Northwest, actually from Northwest Arkansas. Only about an hour away from Waka. I'm definitely going, and since it's so close this year, we decided to rock out VIP.

Where are y'all from?

I am so looking forward to hearing more new music! There are so many great bands out there it's almost impossible to keep up on all of them. I am from Kansas City and used to having Waka close to home but totally overjoyed that Mulberry is the new site!!

If you want to check out some of the bands that are going to be there, Pretty Lights and Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey are both giving away their albums for free!

You can check out Pretty Lights album at http://www.prettylightsmusic.com.

The Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey is at http://www.jfjo.com/info.php?i=3160.

Totally get both of these albums. They are fantastic, and have both been added to my Must See list for Waka this year.

So, there are a TON of bands playing waka!!!  With only 3 stages, it is going to be non-stop!  I can't wait to get my jam on ontop of ol mulberry mountain!!  I am mosssst excited about YMSB!!  and some GMule, RRE, mofro - not to mention cornmeal, elephant revivial and my tea kind!  Way to go WAKA!!
Heading down from SW MO, about 3 hour drive.  For any who haven't been to the mulberry, make sure to take a little time to enjoy the drive - arkansas is a beautiful state and this location is very remote.
